I have just completed the Achievement Course, Your Goal Mind by Cindi McDonald, which is one of the courses that you can take online at Success University. The course takes you through the step by step process of setting goals in all areas of your life, and is one of the best goal setting training courses I have come across. Being a life coach, I’ve seen some!

Why would I need to do this, if I’m already a life coach and know about setting goals already? Well, I believe that no matter where you are in life there is always something else to learn - and any professional person is always on the look out for new ideas and tips both for oneself and to pass on to others.

Like all Success University courses, this does not take up too much of one’s time - yet it is intense, fun to do and effective.

There are 20 daily lessons, each taking no more than 15 minutes. Each lesson has a particular focus, and is structured in a very “user friendly” way, using motivational quotes, photographs and some interactive tools.

There are exercises every day and throughout the program you will develop a detailed, inspiring plan for everything you want to achieve in the important areas of your life.

I love the visualisation exercises (requiring a nice sit or lie down with your eyes shut!), quotes and readings from some of the most well known inspirational speakers and writers.

This program starts with creating your vision - one of the most important (and least used) factors in achieving goals - goes on to focused thinking, writing down the things you want to achieve and what they will look like, to writing a step-by-step plan with the milestones that will help you to chart your progress towards success.

At all times the tone of the lessons are extremely positive, supportive and encouraging.

I would recommend this course to anyone who is looking for an online goal setting training that will not take up too much time, but will be extremely effective.
