Being a leader is maybe not
something you have thought about
when you work at home alone. Surely,
being a leader is only something you need to do if you have employees! However, if you think that
learning how to be
an effective leader is something only other people need to worry about,
think
again. Whatever
your goals are,
achieving success is all about leadership and personal growth, and if
you choose
to ignore this important skill you are shooting yourself in the foot.
When
you work at home alone, you will suddenly find that
there is no-one up front making all the decisions; there is no-one to
tell you
what to do. As an
independent worker,
you have to take responsibility for every decision and every action you
take. Responsibility
is the number one
leadership skill, and it's all yours.
Starting
out with a home business will involve a lot of
training, and for a while you will have to follow others and learn what
they
do. However, once
you have learned the
basics and feel more confident, you will find that you start to have

You have had an idea, you have considered it,
called on the minds of others to develop it, and now you can put it

action.

those who do not just follow whatever everyone else is doing, but do

new and offer something that is unique.
Once you have offered this unique service, you can
become a leader in
your own field, and you will find that others will start to follow you.
Being

compassion and friendliness. This
